Welcome to the Asiago Golf Club WEBCAM
The Asiago Golf Club is considered one of the finest mountain courses in Europe. The layout was designed by Peter Harradine, known for his great experience in mountain golf courses. The great advantage is that, although it is in the mountains, the game is played on a plateau, following a gentle panoramic course, without particular differences in height, ensuring that players can always address the ball with their feet on level ground. Constructed in 1960 with nine holes designed by J. Harris, the course has been completely renewed with 18 holes. The particular environmental characteristics aided the success of the project and the whole work was achieved respecting the precious ecosystem that surrounds the golf club.
When this typical mountain lodge was transformed into a 4 star hotel, a special regard was given for the local architecture and all the most modern comforts. It sits against a magnificent backdrop of woods and the Asiago Golf Club fairways, a quite enchanting setting.
It has twenty rooms, including suites and a mini-apartment offering a lounge, minibar, TV, safe, Internet connection, all furnished very comfortably and with views onto the beautiful landscapes of the surrounding countryside.
It has an intimate, welcoming atmosphere, and the Mittel European interior decoration, in exquisite Biedermeier style, recalls the union between Italian and Austrian cultures.
Breakfast is served in the cosy little room on the ground floor overlooking the woods and the opening fairway, with patio doors leading directly onto the garden.
Just 30 metres away is the Club House, where the restaurant serves excellent dishes of local and international cuisine, and where there is also a congress room with seating for 150.
The Meltar Golf Resort is open all year round and offers made to measure packages for golfers and mountain sport enthusiasts.
With the Meltar Golf Resort the Asiago Plateau is enhanced by a new tourist facility dedicated to lovers of golf and hiking, of our small centre and, in winter, to enthusiasts of cross-country skiing.
